There's a fertility tool with 40 years of research behind it. Most women have never heard of it.
Castor oil packs that leave you doing laundry. Red light panels that can't physically reach an ovary. Supplements that theoretically improve blood flow, though nobody can tell you how much or where.
There's something else — inexpensive, done at home, studied since the 1980s. It's what I teach my patients to use between acupuncture sessions, and I'm building the course that shows you exactly how.
WHAT IT IS, AND WHY I TRUST IT
TEAS: Transcutaneous Electrical Acupoint Stimulation
It uses a TENS unit — the same inexpensive device sold for muscle pain — at very specific settings, on very specific acupuncture points. No needles. No clinic visit. You buy it once.
A pooled analysis of more than 5,000 women found TEAS used alongside IVF was associated with a 42% higher likelihood of pregnancy. In one randomized controlled trial, the effect in women over 35 was more pronounced still: a 49% pregnancy rate compared with 24% in the control group.
The mechanism is not mysterious. Stimulating these points sends a signal through your nervous system that helps regulate estrogen and progesterone, increases blood flow to the ovaries and uterus, and calms the stress response driving both.
